Key signs: TDS of output water is more than 10% of input TDS (or above 50 ppm); very slow tank filling (over 4 hours); continuous water going to drain even when tank is full; significant drop in water taste quality.
How often should RO membrane be replaced?
Every 2–3 years under normal usage. Higher TDS input water (above 500 ppm) or heavy usage may require replacement every 12–18 months. We check membrane performance during every service visit.
